The 2010 election campaign

Social Enterprise UK ran its 2010 Election Campaign alongside the 2010 General Election.

The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness of social enterprise amongst current and prospective MPs, and to lobby politicians to create an environment in which social enterprises can thrive.

The campaign included:

• A manifesto which outlines the social enterprise community’s key policy asks for the next Government

• A charter which we asked MPs to sign up to in order to demonstrate their support for social enterprises in their constituencies and across the UK

• A campaign pack for social enterprises which included tips on working with your MP, attracting the attention of your local media, and a letter to ask your MP to sign the social enterprise charter.

Thank you for your support.
