Assistance for researchers
At Social Enterprise UK we are keen to help postgraduate and other researchers with their work in the social enterprise field.
Owing to the high number of requests for assistance we receive and our limited resources to respond to these individually, we will now be holding a monthly open hour when researchers can come in and meet with us to discuss their work and any aspects we can help with, as well as link with each other.
Our next open hour will be on Tuesday 8 March 2011 at 3.00-4.00pm with Head of Policy Ceri Jones and Senior Research Officer Lidija Mavra.

King’s Urban Internship
SEC is pleased to be hosting the King’s Urban Internship, a new research collaboration with King’s College London. SEC have welcomed a student from the King’s Sustainable Cities MSc course to work on a project related to urban policy which also feeds into SEC’s research priorities. The project will be a scoping study comparing social enterprises with mainstream businesses, focusing in particular on four key areas of comparison: growth, performance, scaling up, and specific comparative performance during the recession.
For more information about this internship or other research collaboration opportunities, contact Dr Lidija Mavra at lidija.mavra@socialenterprise.org.uk.
