Caryl Agard
Caryl Agard is co-founder and executive director of the Social Business Company (SBC), a vehicle to support individuals and communities to provide the answers to the social and economic deficits that they experience in their local areas.
Caryl is also Chair of Voice4Change England, a national policy body dedicated to strengthening the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnicity Third Sector as a positive force for change. It provides a co-ordinated policy voice for BAME groups and organisations and supports them to thrive.

Saeeda Ahmed
Saeeda Ahmed is director of Trescom, a social enterprise she established in 2001. Trescom is a high profile training and community regeneration organisation that works in improving economic, social and civic inclusion and accessibility for diverse groups in society. Saeeda is also involved in international initiatives that are linked to social and environmental responsibility.
As well as overseeing the success of Trescom, Saeeda was appointed as a Social Enterprise Ambassador, is a Millennium Award winner, finalist for Centrica New Statesmen upstarts social enterprise award 2001 and 2002 and a fellow for the School for Social Entrepreneurs.

Angela Asieba
Angela Asieba is CEO of Nubia Magazine CIC, a social enterprise which seeks to address the negative images of Black and Minority Ethnic communities which can be perpetrated by the mainstream media. Nubia Magazine is a bi-monthly publication which aims to inspire and celebrate the success of members of the BAME community through the promotion of positive images and experiences. It also aims to create a forum for engagement that will promote community cohesion.
Angela also sits on the community cohesion forum at Medway Council, is a Director of Medway Voice, and Vice Chair of Medway’s Independent Advisory Committee (IAG) that helps advise the police on a variety of different issues.
Elsa Caleb
Elsa Caleb is the managing director of ECJ Associates, a business consultancy specialising in delivering business development and support to small and medium sized enterprises. She has over 19 years of experience in business consultancy spanning numerous business sectors. Elsa currently runs a Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) Centre of Excellence offering accreditation to business advisers and qualifications for entrepreneurs.

Lauren Craig
Young social entrepreneur Lauren Craig is the founder of Thinking Flowers a social enterprise she set up in 2003 to meet the growing demand for ethical floral design. Her creative drive is closely linked to the social and environmental concerns we face, and a response to the problems of sustainability of having cut flowers at our disposal. Her clients include Tate Modern, House of Commons and Eden project.

Jeremy Crook
Jeremy Crook OBE is Director of the Black Training and Enterprise Group, a national charity that works to improve education, skills, employment and enterprise outcomes for black, Asian and minority ethnic communities. He has 25 years experience of promoting diversity and developing practical solutions in the public, private and voluntary and community sector.
Jeremy is also a member of the Department for Work and Pensions Ethnic Minority Advisory Group and Equality Scheme Reference Group; Communities and Local Government’s Voluntary and Community Sector Board; Department for Business, Innovation and Skills External Equalities Advisory group; a non-executive board member of Greater London Enterprise; and a member of the Assessment Committee for the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

Claire Dove
Claire Dove MBE has led Blackburne House Group since its inception in the 1980s and developed the strategic vision to move from rented space and relocate to Blackburne House - a Grade II listed building that underwent a £4m refurbishment. Blackburne House is now one of Merseyside’s original and most successful social enterprises.
The organisation has successfully trained and educated many thousands of women whose skills, knowledge and talents are adding to the regeneration of Merseyside. The educational performance of the organisation has been ranked in the top 10% of Further Education providers in the country. Claire is also chair of the Social Enterprise Coalition.

Arjumand Kazmi
Arjumand Kazmi is a head of policy at Voice4Change England. In this role she leads the Voice4Change England (V4CE) policy team and is responsible for monitoring developments in public policy and assessing the implications of these for the BME voluntary and community sector including social enterprises. She supports the promotion of V4CE’s key policy messages to government and other policy makers and assists in setting strategic priorities for V4CE.

Matt Kepple
Matt is an award-winning social entrepreneur, Chairman of the Commission for Youth Social Enterprise and one of the Government’s Social Enterprise Ambassadors. He is co-founder of YTFN, an event series which has raised over £35k for more than a dozen micro charities. He consults public, voluntary and private sector clients on strategy, marketing and communication and is involved in projects to engage young people in social enterprise.

Saline Moore
Saline Moore is development manager (BAME networks) at the Social Enterprise Coalition. Saline has done extensive research and study in the fields of small business and ethnic minorities at the University of Birmingham and is Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) accredited. She also has business advisory experience from her previous role as a BAME specialist advisor. Outside of work, Saline is involved in and leads women's and community groups.
Hashmukh Pankhania
Hashmukh is Chief Executive of CEMVO and was appointed to the post in December 2007.
Since taking on the role Hashmukh has been responsible for steering CEMVO to work more effectively in building partnerships with different stakeholders to address some of the social exclusion issues facing our communities.
Hashmukh has extensive knowledge and experience of community engagement, regeneration issues, and on issues affecting the voluntary sector. Hashmukh is a member of the HMRC Stakeholders Forum and DWP’s Ethnic Minority Working Party.
Claudine Reid
Claudine Reid MBE is co-director of PJ’s Community Service, a social enterprise and Community Interest Company which provides services to enhance and impact the community. Claudine has been key to the development and strategic direction for PJ’s Community Service since it’s inception in 1992 in which time it has grown to become a community hub working not just in care services but also youth, education, business and the arts. Claudine has been appointed as a Social Enterprise Ambassador and in 2008 was awarded an MBE in recognition of her services to the community.

Uday leads the innovative consultancy and training social enterprise Red Ochre. Extremely well regarded for the support it gives to social entrepreneurs, enterprises and the voluntary and community sector nationally Red Ochre is also a leading provider of tailored support to BAME groups.
Uday is a leading exponent of, and a regular commentator on, social enterprise, sustainability, strategy, leadership, governance and all aspects of funding and finance. He is also a winner of the prestigious Social Enterprise Mentor of the Year award.
