Party conferences 2011
Conference Fringe Events
This autumn, SEUK will be attending the Liberal Democrat, Labour and Conservative party conferences. We will be hosting a series of private meetings at the Liberal Democrat and Labour conferences, as well as a public fringe event at the Conservative party conference. Our Liberal Democrat meeting will be attended by Ed Davey MP, Lord Newby and Councillor Craig Dearden-Phillips; we'll be joined by David Hanson MP, Emily Thornberry MP and Hazel Blears MP at our Labour meeting; and at the Conservative party conference we'll be speaking to Minister for Civil Society Nick Hurd MP.
Our Conservative party fringe event, "Fightback Britain: Creating an economy that profits society" is taking place from 12.30-2pm on Tuesday 4th October at the Palace Hotel in Manchester. At the event, we'll be exploring the findings of our flagship report "Fightback Britain", which presents the findings of the latest State of Social Enterprise Survey. The event will be chaired by Patrick Butler, The Guardian and the panellists will be Richard Fuller MP, Peter Holbrook, SEUK and John Coulthard, Microsoft.
This is event is outside the security zone and open to SEUK members and conference attendees. Please email Olof Jonsdottir at olof.jonsdottir@socialenterprise.org.uk if you would like to attend.
